Aspen just turned 2-yrs-old in February and is a DOLL! What a sweet, fun and funny girl. She enjoys playing with her toys and throws them up in the air and chases them around the room. She amuses herself but does like attention from her foster mom. She loves to lean on you and get petted. When you blow in her face, she tries to "lick and eat" the air. She is so cute and will do things to amuse you and make you laugh every day. When you take out the leash she gets so excited! She is WONDERFUL on a leash. She is learning hand signals and already knows off, come, down and sit. She is working on stay and others. She also enjoys looking at herself in the mirror and climbing into the bathtub to sniff around or better yet to stick her head under the water while you are showering. Did I mention she is Deaf and missing an eye? Don't tell her though. She has no idea and acts just like any other dog. She runs up and down the stairs, loves to play fetch in the yard and is totally potty trained. Her other eye has been checked out and she has lots of sight in it.. no cataracts or anything. Aspen is good with cats and dogs (although she will hold her ground if other dogs get "pushy" or are too energetic so some structure and time to adjust is helpful). She is a joy and now available for adoption. The first step to any adoption is the application process.Please fill one out completely and submit it; We need to have an applicant approved before we give out additional information on the dog and the number of the foster home.
